Benjamin F. Bain II is the husband who gave Terrie her last surname. He married her around 1999 — her sister Terrie’s 2017 obituary gives the marriage as “her husband of 15 years” before his death — and predeceased her by two and a half years, dying on 21 December 2014. Terrie kept the surname Bain through her own remaining months and into the printed record (the funeral home, the obituary headline, the memorial service).
