Connected to the Eesley line by his 1899 marriage to Bessie (Easley) Eesley in Toronto — the same year as the Eesley family group portrait was taken in the city. The Sinclair marriage is the reason the William Eesley obituary lists Bessie as “Mrs. George Sinclair of Toronto” rather than under her given name.
