Zhou Zhaoxiang and Sun Yunzhe — Lijie's paternal grandparents, Qingdao

Lijie’s paternal grandparents together in later life at home in Qingdao: Sun Yunzhe (at left, in a green embroidered top; d. 2023) and her husband Zhou Zhaoxiang (at right, in a checked shirt; 1930–2022, born in Jiaozhou). It is the clearest photograph of Sun Yunzhe in the archive and the source of her portrait here.

The pairing completes the grandparent set for Lijie’s line: her maternal grandmother Shang Yaozhen and maternal grandfather Li Zhongchu on one side, and Zhou Zhaoxiang and Sun Yunzhe on the other.

周兆祥与孙云哲 — Lijie的祖父母，青岛

Lijie的祖父母晚年在青岛家中的合影：孙云哲（左，身着绿色绣花上衣；2023年辞世）与其夫**周兆祥**（右，身着格子衬衫；1930–2022，生于胶州）。这是本档案中孙云哲最清晰的一张照片，也是其肖像的来源。

这一对合影补齐了Lijie这一脉的祖辈：一侧是外祖母尚耀真与外祖父李仲初，另一侧即周兆祥与孙云哲。
