Letter to Terrie, spring 1970 — 'I saw the movie Woodstock today. Quite interesting!'

Letter recording Charlie's viewing of the documentary 'Woodstock' (released March 1970) at some Vietnam-based screening — likely a rear-area Special Services facility, USO, or division film service. The whole letter is mostly faded blue-ink cursive, but the closing line survives in clearer hand: 'I saw the movie Woodstock today. Quite interesting!!' One sentence is the entire record of a 22-year-old infantryman in Vietnam watching a documentary about the music festival his civilian-side peers attended the summer before he shipped. He gets to it with two exclamation points and a sense of distance.
