Walter Clark

b. 1911-04-06

Walter Clark was the son of Margaret Zelma (Wildermuth) Clarke and her husband Clarke — born 6 April 1911, older brother of Eva Catherine “Kate” Clark. The family appears to have used the spelling Clark (without the final -e) for the children while Margaret’s married name was recorded as Clarke.

He appears at about age 2 in the c. 1913 photograph of his mother and his aunt Mae Clara Seyler with all four of their then-small children, in front of Mae Clara’s house on Front Street, Marietta — Walter on a small tricycle, pale clothes, between his mother and his older cousin Ruth Mae Seyler.

Walter is Chuck Eesley’s first cousin twice removed on the paternal Wildermuth side. His marriage, his trade, his children, and the date of his death are open research.
