Peggy Sue Wolfe

also known as the youngest Wolfe daughter

Peggy Sue Wolfe is the youngest of the three daughters of Betty Jean (Davis) Wolfe and Norman Graham Wolfe — both Marietta Ohio’s long-time host couple of 108 Hillcrest Drive and the cousins of Chuck’s mother on the maternal Davis side. She is Chuck’s mother Terrie Lee Wildermuth’s first cousin on the Davis side.

She was living in St. Petersburg, Pinellas County, Florida at the time of her parents’ 2015 deaths — the same Tampa-Bay area as her sister Norma Jean. The two Florida-cousin households were the gravitational pull for the elder Wolfes’ c. 2013 move to Largo for the final two years of their lives — the move documented in both her parents’ obituaries: “Betty and Norm spent the final two years of their lives in Largo, Fla., near their daughters.”

She is named in her parents’ obituaries by her birth name — “Peggy Wolfe” in Norm’s, “Peggy Sue Wolfe” in Betty’s — without a spouse or married name. Whether Peggy Sue married or stayed Miss Wolfe by choice is open research; the absence of a spouse in the 2015 obituaries suggests at least that she was not married at that time.

Per Betty’s obituary, Peggy was at her mother’s bedside in her final days: “Her daughters and her favorite grand dog, Lily, were by her side during her final days reminiscing, laughing, and talking about the love and strength of family.”
