Victoria Ann (Wolfe) Schwartz
also known as Vicki Schwartz; Mrs. Geoffrey Schwartz; the eldest Wolfe daughter
Victoria Ann (Wolfe) Schwartz is the eldest of the three daughters of Betty Jean (Davis) Wolfe and Norman Graham Wolfe, the long-time hosts of 108 Hillcrest Drive in Marietta where Chuck and his parents spent so many holiday dinners. She is Chuck’s mother Terrie Lee Wildermuth’s first cousin on the maternal Davis side, and was one of the cousins who would have been at the same Hillcrest table as Chuck across the years.
She married Geoffrey Schwartz and was living in Topton, North Carolina at the time of both her parents’ 2015 deaths. Topton is in Macon County in the western North Carolina mountains — a long way from Marietta but the kind of small-town America the Wolfes’ values pointed at.
Her children
- Geoffrey B. Schwartz II — named for his father. Predeceased his grandparents Norm and Betty in 2009, a loss that both Wolfe obituaries name explicitly. The grandson’s early death is the one shadow on the long-marriage family arc Norm’s obituary describes.
- Emily Marie Schwartz Crouch — Vicki’s daughter, married Zachary Crouch, lived in Louisville, Kentucky at the time of her grandparents’ deaths. Mother of Charlotte Victoria Crouch (b. c. 2012–2013) — Charlotte’s middle name Victoria carries her grandmother Vicki’s first name down to the next generation.
The line therefore runs: Vicki → Emily Marie → Charlotte Victoria — three generations of Davis-Wolfe women whose middle names hand the family forward.
