William Harvey Davis Jr.

also known as Bill Davis Jr.

William Harvey Davis Jr. is the eldest son of William Harvey Davis Sr. and Rebecca “Becky” Lynne (Angel) Davis — named for his father in the JR-and-SR pair. His father is Chuck’s great-uncle (the youngest brother of Chuck’s grandmother Dorothy Davis Wildermuth); his mother is the daughter of Chuck’s godmother Faye Angel. He is therefore Chuck’s first cousin once removed on the maternal Wildermuth-Davis side.

He is the single figure who is simultaneously a Davis-Wildermuth descendant and an Angel descendant — the embodied result of the 16 August 1963 marriage that joined the two lines. His likely siblings include his brother Homer Edward Davis (named for their grandfather Homer Edward Davis Sr.) and his sister Kimberly Ann Davis.

In the 1992 portrait

He appears back row, second from left, in the c. 1992 Davis-Angel family portrait — identified in the typed caption as “William Harvey Davis, Jr.” Standing between his maternal grandfather Ted Angel and his brother Homer Edward Davis, with his parents Bill Sr. and Becky and his grandmother Faye Angel and his great-aunt Betty Wolfe in the rest of the portrait.

His dates, his trade, marriage and children are queued research.
