Georg Wilhelm Schmidgall

b. 1758-05-12, Röhrach, Kleinaspach, Marbach, Württemberg, Germany

Georg Wilhelm Schmidgall was born 12 May 1758 in Röhrach — the same small Württemberg village (near Kleinaspach in the Marbach district) where he would farm and raise the children who took the line forward. He married Anna Catherina Landai in Rietenau on 24 April 1785. His daughter Maria Margaretha Schmidgall (b. 1789) is the line connector to the Wildermuth-side — through her 1842 marriage to Johann Christian Wildermuth.

Robert Earl’s 1989 “Little History” sketch carries only the bare facts:

Georg was a farmer in Röhrach. His death date is unknown.

Beyond which the GEDCOM has nothing yet to add. His father Jacob Schmidgall of Großhöchberg is the next-deepest Schmidgall ancestor on record.
