Maria Dorothea Wild
b. 1714-01-21, Eschach, Württemberg, Germany
d. 1787-06-27, Röhrach, Aspach, Rems-Murr-Kreis, Baden-Württemberg, Germany
Maria Dorothea Wild was born 21 January 1714 in Eschach — a small Württemberg village (Robert Earl’s memoir prints it as Eschuch, almost certainly meaning Eschach). She married Joseph Landai of Röhrach on 2 April 1744 in Ristenau and moved into his Röhrach household.
She died 27 June 1787 in Röhrach, age sixty-three. Her husband followed her in death four months later (13 October 1787). Their daughter Anna Catherina Landai (b. 1748) is the line connector forward to the Schmidgalls and the Wildermuths.
Robert Earl’s 1989 “Little History”:
Maria was born in Eschach on 21 January 1714. She died in Röhrach on 27 June 1787. Age sixty-three.
The Wild surname carries no further in Robert Earl’s record; she is the line-end on this side.
