Nancy Bartlett

Nancy Bartlett married Thomas Bailey on 21 October 1803 in Monongalia County, Virginia. She is Chuck’s maternal 5×-great-grandmother on the Fleming line.

Her daughter Synthia Bailey married Lewis B Fleming in 1827, carrying this line into the Fleming and then the Wildermuth families.

Her father is recorded as Thomas Bartlett; her mother appears in the record only as “Sarah”, with no surname or dates given. Lewis Fleming’s page notes that “the Baileys and Bartletts were old Virginia families.”
