Helen Louise (Eesley) Burnes

Helen Louise Eesley was born January 16, 1924 in Columbus, Ohio — the youngest of Charles Leonard and Lillie Dale Chenoweth Eesley’s ten children, born the same year her older sister Jean Goldie Eesley died at twelve. She married Edwin William Burnes and lived in Worthington, Ohio.
She and Edwin had four children, including:
- Brian Carlson Burnes (b. March 6, 1948)
- Barbara Lynn Burnes (b. September 13, 1950), who married Phillip Hester
- Elizabeth Burnes (b. May 15, 1955), who married Donald Faux
- Roberta Marie Burnes (b. August 6, 1963) — the cousin who now holds the 1940s Eesley letter collection
- Katherine “Katie” Burnes (b. February 15, 1965)
Helen and Mary Bean were the two sisters who survived Will in 1986.
