Catharina Dorothea (Wolf) Wildermuth
also known as Catharina Dorothea Wolf, maiden
b. 1766-07-22, Großaspach, Backnang, Württemberg, Germany
d. 1835-04-03
Catharina Dorothea Wolf was born 22 July 1766 in Großaspach, Württemberg, and married Adam Wildermuth there on 25 October 1791. She was the mother of the family’s nine recorded children — among them Johann Christian Wildermuth (b. 1794), the ancestor through whom the line reaches Johann Michael, the 1847 emigrant to Marietta, and on down to the American Wildermuths.
Adam died young, in 1800, when Catharina was only 34; she outlived him by thirty-five years, dying 3 April 1835.
Her parents were Johann Georg Wolf and Anna Maria Werner (b. 1739) — and through her mother the Wildermuth descent joins the Werner–Phillipp family, back to Johann Georg Werner and Anna Barbara Phillipp (1712–1742) of the Aspach villages.
